教育におけるアニメーション・AR・VRの活用
Using Animations, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality in Education

国内外の著名なeラーニングの専門家をお招きして行っております、熊本大学eラーニング連続セミナーも第41回を数えるに至りました。

本セミナーでは、アニメーション、拡張現実（AR）、仮想現実（VR）、拡張現実（XR）といった先端技術を活用した大学教育の実践事例をもとに、教育の新たな可能性を探ります。講師は、米国パデュー大学で学習デザインとテクノロジーを専門とするWanju Huang博士です。
看護、統計、数学、教員養成、薬学・原子力工学など、多様な領域での具体的な実践を通して、学生の学びを深めるための工夫やテクノロジーの活かし方を紹介します。特に、ストーリーテリングを活用したアニメーション教材、ARによる遠隔学習課題の展開、VRを用いた教室マネジメントの模擬訓練などが紹介されます。

このセミナーは、FD（ファカルティ・ディベロップメント）として、大学教員が自身の授業を見直し、今後の授業設計や学習支援において、どのようにテクノロジーを活用できるかを考えるきっかけを提供します。

This seminar invites university faculty to explore how animations, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and extended reality (XR) are being applied across disciplines to enhance student learning. Dr. Wanju Huang, a clinical associate professor at Purdue University specializing in Learning Design and Technology, will share real-world case examples from nursing, statistics, mathematics education, teacher training, and nuclear pharmacy.
Through engaging stories and practical implementations—such as animated modules with storytelling, AR-based assignments, and VR simulations for classroom management—participants will gain fresh ideas on how learning technologies can be integrated into their own teaching practices.
As part of a faculty development (FD) initiative, the seminar is designed to inspire reflection and offer new perspectives for improving instructional design. Rather than focusing solely on technical know-how, the session aims to spark conversations on how technology can be meaningfully and feasibly adopted in everyday university teaching.
